2025 Hyundai i20 : Hyundai has made some fresh changes in the 2025 model of its popular premium hatchback car i20. This time the company has launched a new variant – i20 Magna Executive, which has been priced at ₹ 7,50,900 ex-showroom. Also, the Magna variant now also gets an automatic (iVT) gearbox, making it the most affordable automatic version of the i20 lineup.

What is special in Magna Executive?

Hyundai has now started offering advanced features to those customers who want to take the basic variant. The features that are available in Magna Executive were earlier available only in higher variants:

Now it has 6 airbags

Safety features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)

Hill Start Assist has also been included in it

Combining all these, now this variant is not only cheaper but has also become better in terms of safety.

Magna iVT – Automatic now affordable

Hyundai has made the i20 even more attractive for customers who want to make driving easier by adding an automatic gearbox (iVT) to the Magna variant. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹ 8,88,800, which is the most affordable i20 automatic ever.

Sportz (O) variant also upgraded

The company has given some premium touches to the Sportz (O) version:

Now it has a push-button start and smart key

Rear AC vents, electric sunroof and 7-speaker Bose sound system

A new 25.55 cm touchscreen infotainment system has also been added, which customers can buy as an accessory for ₹ 14,999.

It also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rear camera

This unit will get a 3-year warranty

The company said that more than 14 lakh i20 cars have been sold in India in the last 15 years. This figure itself tells how much this hatchback is liked among Indian customers.

What are the future plans?

Hyundai has recently announced that it will launch 26 new models in India by 2030. This includes 20 ICE (petrol-diesel) and 6 EV (electric vehicles).
