2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE : In India, Suzuki has given a new update to its popular adventure tourer bike V-Strom 800DE as a 2025 model. This time the engine of the bike has now been updated according to the new OBD-2B regulations, making it even more environmentally friendly. Along with this, the company has also added three new color options to it, which has made the look of the bike even more stylish.
Engine and Performance
This bike has the same 776cc parallel twin engine as before, but now it has been updated according to OBD-2B standards. This engine comes with DOHC technology and 270-degree crank, which keeps its performance very smooth and powerful. This engine produces 84 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. The engine has been tuned in such a way that the low-end torque is also fun and the high-speed performance is also very good.
New look and color options
This time the company has included three new colors in the 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, which makes the bike more attractive than before.
The white shade named Pearl Tech White comes with blue colored rims, which gives a very fresh and modern feel.
The Champion Yellow No.2 color shows the traditional identity of Suzuki, with dark panels and blue wheels.
In Glass Sparkle Black you get black rims and its graphics are in gray and red shades, which give it a subtle but stylish look.
Suspension and riding experience
The bike has the same steel frame as before, but to further improve its riding quality, Showa (now Hitachi Astemo) long-travel suspension has been installed. There are inverted forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, which you can easily adjust by hand. There is a suspension travel of 220 mm on both the front and rear, which makes the off-roading experience quite strong.
The ground clearance of the bike is also 220 mm, which is more than any V-Strom till date. Due to this, the bike can run on rough roads without any problem.
Wheels and Tires
This adventure bike has 21-inch aluminum rims at the front and 17-inch aluminum rims at the rear. Both the wheels are wire-spoke type and come with Dunlop’s Trailmax Mixtour tires, which are good on the road and also give great grip on the trails.
Technology and Features
Many advanced features have also been included in the 2025 V-Strom 800DE. It has a bi-directional quickshifter, so that you can easily change gears up and down without clutch. Three riding modes are available through SDMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector), which makes it easier to control the bike in different conditions.
The bike also has traction control, which especially has a gravel mode that helps on rough roads. Apart from this, there is a two-step ABS setting, which improves both braking and safety. It also has features like throttle-by-wire, low RPM assist (which prevents the bike from stalling) and one-touch start button.
Price and availability
The ex-showroom Delhi price of the new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE has been kept at Rs 10.30 lakh. This bike will be available only at select showrooms where the company’s big engine bikes are sold.
