Tata Motors is soon going to launch a new version of its premium hatchback Altroz in India. Its facelift model will be introduced on May 21. After about two years, the premium hatchback segment will once again see a stir. Let’s know what new can be found in this updated Altroz.
Changes that will be visible from outside
The design of Tata Altroz is already quite attractive, but the company is now going to make it even better. It is expected that the new model will get LED projector headlamps instead of the old halogen projector headlamps, which will make the light brighter and clearer. LED fog lights can also be added.
The front bumper and grills of the car will also be refreshed. In the side profile, 16-inch newly designed 5-spoke alloy wheels can be given, which will give it a more sporty look. Talking about the rear side, LED taillights can be given here and the styling of the bumper can also be changed a bit.
These new features can be found in the cabin
Big changes are also possible in the interior. The Altroz facelift can be given a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster than before, which was earlier 7-inch. The steering wheel can now come in a two-spoke design. The dashboard will also be made a little clean and modern.
Talking about the new features, many advanced features like wireless phone charging, USB Type-C ports, auto-dimming IRVM and ventilated front seats can be seen in it.
Increase in safety features is also possible
There will be some important changes regarding safety in the Altroz facelift. There is a possibility of getting a 360-degree camera system, which will make parking and driving easier. However, ADAS features are not expected at the moment.
Old trust will remain in the engine and performance
There will be no change in the engine options in the new Altroz. It will be powered by the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre iTurbo petrol, 1.2-litre petrol-CNG and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options will include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed DCT automatic.
What will be the price?
The price of the Tata Altroz facelift can be kept around the current model. Its starting ex-showroom price is expected to be around Rs 7 lakh.
Conclusion
The Tata Altroz facelift is going to look more premium and smarter than before in terms of design, features and safety. If you are thinking of buying a stylish and reliable hatchback, then definitely check it out after May 21.
