2026 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 : Royal Enfield’s popular cruiser bike Super Meteor 650 is once again in the news. This bike was first introduced as a cruiser on a 650cc platform, and since then it has been well liked among riders for its great style and retro feel. Now a new version of it has been seen during testing abroad, from which it is being speculated that the company can launch it in 2026 with new changes.
Glimpse of the new Super Meteor 650
The bike seen during testing looks exactly like the current model. Its tank design, side body, wheels, seat and headlights all appeared the same as found in the current version. The special thing is that no cover or camouflage was applied on the bike. It seemed as if the company itself wanted this bike to come in the eyes of the people.
Technical changes expected
Although there was no major change in the design, some technical equipment was installed in place of its rear seat. It is believed that these data recordings have been done so that testing related to the engine or performance can be done. Currently, this bike has a 650cc engine which generates 46.3 bhp of power and 52.3 Nm of torque. It is possible that the company can give a new performance setting by doing slight retuning in it.
Preparations to improve user experience
So far, this bike has Royal Enfield’s signature ‘Tripper’ screen which shows only basic navigation. But in the new version, the company can give Tripper Dash feature in it which will be equipped with features like Google Maps and music control. This feature can prove to be very helpful especially for long riders and will make the bike even more upgraded in terms of technology.

Can this be a 750cc model?
Many people doubt whether this new model can have a 750cc engine? But the answer to this question is probably ‘no’. The reason for this is that the bike seen in testing clearly had Super Meteor 650 written on it. Apart from this, the 750cc models that have been seen testing earlier, such as Interceptor 750 and Himalayan 750, have been given dual disc brake setup. Whereas no such change was seen in this bike.
Launch possibilities
Although the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding its launch, but as testing is going on, it is believed that the new avatar of Super Meteor 650 can come in the market in 2026. It is expected to get more tech-friendly features, slightly better engine tune and updates to improve user experience.
