1. Maruti Suzuki’s new mid-size SUV
Maruti Suzuki is soon going to bring a brand new 5-seater SUV, which will directly compete with popular cars like Hyundai Creta. The company will sell this SUV from its Arena dealership network. The base platform and engine of this vehicle can be found from Grand Vitara, but its design will be completely different. According to the spy image so far, it can have a new front look, different alloy wheels and refreshed design from the rear as well. It is expected to have petrol and mild hybrid options.
2. New Kia Carens –
Kia is going to launch its famous family MPV Carens in an updated avatar. Many changes can be seen in this new car from outside to inside. New headlights, fresh DRLs, redesigned bumper and new grille will change its look. Along with this, high-tech features like 360 degree camera and ADAS can be added to it. The engines will remain the same old – 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel.
3. Kia Carens EV –
Soon after the launch of ICE Carens, the company can also launch its electric version in the market. Carens EV has been seen testing on Indian roads many times. It will have the same features and design as the ICE model, but due to being an EV, some special changes can also be seen. This electric MPV is expected to use a battery pack like the Hyundai Creta EV, which can give a range of 400+ km on a single charge. Features like ADAS, panoramic sunroof and 360° camera can be found in it.
4. Volkswagen Golf GTI –
Volkswagen is going to bring its performance-focused Golf GTI to India as a CBU unit. Only 250 units will be sold in the country, making it an exclusive model. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that will produce 265 bhp of power and 370 Nm of torque. Its top speed will be 250 kmph and this car can catch the speed of 0-100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds. Talking about the price, its ex-showroom price can be around Rs 52 lakh.
5. MG M9 –
MG Motor India may launch its premium electric MPV M9 soon. It was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and its pre-booking has already started. The M9 will be equipped with a large 90kWh battery, which can give it a range of up to 430 km. In terms of power, this MPV will generate 245 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It will compete with luxury MPVs like Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival.
6. Tata Harrier EV –
Tata’s much-awaited Harrier EV is now very close to launch. This car is built on the company’s new Gen 2 Active EV architecture and will get a dual-motor all-wheel drive system. Tata claims that it will get a peak torque of 500 Nm. There will also be slight changes in its looks and it will be given a sporty and futuristic design. Harrier EV will compete with cars like Mahindra BE 6, Maruti e-Vitara and Creta EV.
7. Tata Altroz Facelift –
The facelift version of Tata’s premium hatchback Altroz is also on the way to launch. Many glimpses of it have been revealed during testing, which clearly shows that some cosmetic changes have been made to it. Such as newly designed bumpers, headlights and taillights, and new alloy wheels. There will be no change in the engine option – petrol, turbo petrol, diesel and CNG options will remain available. It is expected that a new infotainment system and some tech features will also be added to it.
