Brazil Air Balloon Crash: Sad news is coming from Brazil, where a hot air balloon caught fire with 21 people on board in Santa Catarina state in southern Brazil on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Jorginho Mello, the governor of Santa Catarina, gave the statement on platform X (Twitter) that 8 people died in the accident and 13 were injured.

News agency AFP reported that the balloon caught fire in the middle of the air and the video of it was recorded by the people and shown on television.
The weather was clear when they were flying but all of sudden it caught fire and plummeted dozens of meters to the ground in flames.
The survivors are treated in the hospital, whereas the firefighters are investigating how the balloon caught fire.
