2025 Honda XL750 : Honda has officially revealed the new version of its adventure bike 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp in Japan. This bike is going to be launched in Japan on 29 May 2025. It is believed that it can be introduced in India by the end of this year or early 2026. In its segment, this bike competes with powerful bikes like Triumph Tiger 900, BMW F 850 GS and Suzuki V-Strom 800DE.

Now let’s know what has been changed in this bike this time and what new features have been included.

Changes worth noting:

The new XL750 Transalp now has dual projector headlamps at the front, which will not only improve the lighting at night but also enhance the style of the bike. The windscreen has also been upgraded, which is now made of a special plastic called ‘DuraBio’. This material is not only eco-friendly but also scratch-resistant and stronger.

A new air intake duct has also been installed in the bike, which diverts the air coming towards the rider. Its benefit will be seen in the form of reduced fatigue in long distance riding.

Improvement in suspension and ride quality:

Honda has retuned the suspension system on both front and rear sides to provide a smooth and comfortable ride on both highway and off-road. With this, the weight of the bike has now become 210 kg, which is 2 kg more than the previous model.

Talking about the dimensions, the size of the bike has been kept the same as before, but the height has decreased by 5 mm, which is probably due to the new windscreen. The seat height is still 850 mm. The bike gets 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, which has 90/90 front and 150/70 rear tires

New color option also arrived:

A new Pearl Deep Mud Gray color option has been added for this bike in Japan. Old colors – Ross White and Graphite Black are also available. Only Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic colors are available in India so far. It is expected that a new gray color will be added in India soon.

Changes in engine and performance:

The bike has the same old 755cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine, which generates 91 PS of power and 75 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, changes have been made to the fuel injection settings, which will give better throttle response at low and mid RPM. It is believed that some tuning has also been done in the ECU so that the engine gives a smooth and refined feel.

What could be the price in India?

The 2025 model has been priced at 1.32 million yen (about Rs 7.74 lakh) in Japan, which is about Rs 32,000 more than the old model. The ex-showroom price of the current model in India is ₹ 10.99 lakh. A discount of ₹ 80,000 was also given on it in March 2025. When the new model is launched in India, its price can be around ₹ 11.5 to ₹ 12 lakh.
