PWD’s Seasonal Road Repairs: A Routine With a Twist
In Delhi, road repairs by the Public Works Department (PWD) start from mid-March and go to mid-June annually. This is not a calendar, they have carefully chosen this schedule to skip the monsoon – when roads cannot be worked on because everything turns into rivers.
