Tata Trucks Now Come With AC : Tata Motors, one of India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, has added air conditioning to all its truck models. This facility is now being offered even in cowl variants, which till now came without AC. The company’s move has been taken keeping in mind the convenience and comfort of truck drivers, so that long distance journeys can be made more comfortable than before.
Now AC in every model – with better cooling
The new air conditioning system introduced by Tata has two modes, Eco and Heavy. With this, cooling can be controlled according to the need of the truck and the weather. This facility is now available in all major Tata truck models like SFC, LPT, Ultra, Signa and Prima. This will not only increase comfort but will also help in saving energy.
Powerful engines and smart features
Under the new changes, Tata’s heavy duty trucks, such as tippers and prime movers, have become more powerful than before and now have a capacity of up to 320 horsepower. Along with this, some smart features have also been added to the trucks that help save fuel – such as automatic shutdown of the engine when the truck is stopped and real-time voice alerts, which give the driver important information.

Connected technology and improved service network
Tata’s digital platform Fleet Edge still helps truck operators monitor the performance of their vehicles. This makes the maintenance of trucks easier and also reduces costs in the long run. Also, under Sampoorna Seva 2.0, Tata has created more than 3,000 touchpoints across the country, from where truck owners get all the necessary facilities like service, roadside assistance, spare parts and AMC.
Special focus on driver comfort
Tata says that this is not just a technological change, but a strong step towards improving the working environment of drivers. Drivers often have to struggle with heat and fatigue on the roads of India. In such a situation, a facility like air conditioning not only makes their work comfortable but also increases their productivity.
New changes made based on customer feedback
Tata Motors said that all these changes have been made keeping in mind the feedback and needs of the customers. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President of the company’s truck division, said, “The improvements we have made are not only beneficial for the drivers but will also prove to be beneficial for the truck owners. Our aim is to reduce the overall cost and make more profits for commercial operators.”
