The company is preparing to launch its first electric and hybrid bikes in India in the coming few years. Flying Flea C6 – First Electric Bike

Royal Enfield’s first electric bike has been named Flying Flea C6. This model was recently seen during testing on the roads of India. The company has also made its launch timeline clear – this bike will go on sale in India before March 2026. It will be brought under Flying Flea, a new sub-brand of Royal Enfield.

The specialty of this bike is that it has an old-fashioned classic look but will be fully electric. It will have smart features like round LED headlight, digital touchscreen meter, ride modes, over the air updates and voice assist. The company has not yet shared the complete details of its battery and range, but it is expected that it can give a range of 200 to 220 km on full charge. Its performance can be like a 250 to 300 cc petrol bike. It will have a fixed battery which will support fast charging.

Royal Enfield 250cc Hybrid Bike

Royal Enfield is trying its hand not only in electric but also in the hybrid segment. The company is working on a new 250 cc hybrid motorcycle which is being prepared keeping in mind the Indian market. The special thing is that its engine will be taken from Chinese company CFMoto.

This bike will come in the segment below Royal Enfield’s current Hunter 350 and its price can be around Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the price of Hunter 350 starts from RS 1.50 lakh. This hybrid bike will get the support of petrol as well as electric motor, due to which its mileage can be more than 50 kilometers per liter.

This bike will be completely made in India and 85 to 90 percent local parts will be used in it. At present, the company has given it the codename V and if everything goes well, this bike can be seen running on Indian roads by mid-2027.

Flying Flea S6 – Second Electric Model

While the C6 is a retro-looking cruiser bike, the Flying Flea S6 will come in a scrambler style. This will also be a fully electric bike and will be Royal Enfield’s second e-bike under the Flying Flea brand. Its design will be slightly different from the C6 – it will be slightly larger in size, the suspension will be longer and its riding position will also be slightly different.

The base of C6 and S6 will be the same but S6 will give a more sporty feel. Along with this, its pickup speed i.e. 0 to 60 km/h will also be faster than C6. This model will be launched in India by the end of the year 2026.
