The Medical Counselling Committee MCC will manage counselling for the 15 percent All India Quota AIQ seats and 100 percent seats in top colleges like AIIMS or BHU or AMU or JMI or ESIC. You have to register on mcc.nic.in and do every step on time
Round 1
- Register and fill choices in 21 to 28 July
- Seat allotment in 29 and 30 July
- Result in 31 July
Round 2
- Register and pay fee in 12 to 18 August
- Seat allotment in 19 and 20 August
- Result in 21 August
- Report to college in 22 to 29 August
Round 3
- Register and fill choices in 3 to 8 September
- Seat allotment in 9 and 10 September
- Result in 11 September
- Report to college in 12 to 18 September
Stray Vacancy Round
- Register in 22 to 24 September
- Choice filling ends in 25 September
- Seat allotment in 25 and 26 September
- Result in 27 September
- Report in 27 September to 3 October

If you forget any paper then your seat may slip away so pack these first
- NEET UG Admit Card and Scorecard
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates
- Birth proof
- Category certificate if needed
- Domicile for state quota
- Passport photos
- Aadhaar or valid ID
- Migration certificate if asked
In India there are 780 medical colleges so about 118190 MBBS seats are available. Karnataka has the most with about 12500 seats and Uttar Pradesh is close too. Tamil Nadu or Maharashtra or Telangana or Andhra Pradesh or Gujarat or Rajasthan add many seats too.
You can get a seat through AIQ or through state quota. In AIQ 15 percent seats are filled by MCC and in state quota 85 percent seats are filled by state-level rounds. So keep track of both or you may miss one chance.
