India’s hot summer temperatures might finally have their relief. After a few days of record-breaking heat, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a monsoon warning for all states except a few in north and central India. Scorching temperatures hold firm from Delhi to Bihar, offering no hint of relief. In Bihar, the mercury has crossed 42°C. The roads have been deserted during the daytime as people did not venture out. But all that now stands to change in the very near future.
