According to news agency PTI, on Tuesday morning, an Indigo flight going from Kochi to Delhi was made to make an emergency landing in Nagpur after a bomb threat.

This flight was flying to Delhi at 9:31 am with 157 passengers and 6 pilots. CIAL officials stated in their statement that they had received a threatening email on their official email address, which originated from Muscat.

CIAL also said that as soon as they received the bomb threat, they informed the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) and called a meeting. And after this, the bomb threat was considered specific.

It was also told in the statement that after considering it special, all the officials were updated, and the plane was made to make an emergency landing. Immediately after landing, the plane was thoroughly inspected.

After the complete inspection, when everything was found normal, the plane was sent back to Delhi.
