Sticky Morning as Rain is on its way
Day started in Delhi NCR with a sticky humid tone. The sort of weather that leaves you feeling hot the moment you step outside. The sky was a dull grey, showing early warning that rains are soon going to be here. And now even the weather department has agreed; Delhi and the NCR have been issued a yellow alert for the day.

The Indian Meteorological Department advises the public to exercise prudence. Thunderstorms, gusts, and rain will strike the city; winds of 50 km/h are likely, even 60 km/h in some locations. Expected to visit are thunderstorms and lightning. Therefore, have an umbrella ready and be prepared for any unexpected weather if you have to leave your home.
Cloudy Skies All Day with Spells of Sun
The sky will be cloudy. There are moments though when, through breaks in the clouds, you get glimpses of sunlight. Alternation between sunshine and clouding is periodic at times throughout the day. Stay up to date with the present weather predictions.
Early today morning, Delhi reached a low of 27.2 degrees Celsius The temperature would rise to around 36 degrees Celsius today. For the time of year, these are average readings. Although rains and breezes help to bring down the temperature slightly, the humidity could possibly elevate the day.
Air Quality in Satisfactory Range
Good news here, Delhi air is stable. Delhi Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 a.m. as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) was 99 and falls in the ‘satisfactory’ category. AQI is fair or moderate in the remaining NCR Experts are of the view that rains and winds are keeping the pollution from spreading in the interim.
Delhi NCR citizens should beware and keep a check on the weather. The high speed of the gust of wind and sudden rain can lead to waterlogging, traffic, or trees uprooting at some localities. Flights and trains will also be held up. Safety always comes first and does not do any harm.
