Triumph Speed T4 : British bike maker Triumph has introduced its popular bike Speed T4 in India in a brand new color ‘Baja Orange’. The ex-showroom price of this great looking bike has been kept at ₹ 2.05 lakh. The company has previously used this orange shade in high-end bikes like Scrambler 1200 XE and Street Triple 765 R. Now the same iconic color is also seen on Speed T4, which makes it different from other classic bikes.
No change in engine and performance
The power and technical features of the bike are the same as before. It has a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which gives 31 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. This engine gives great performance especially between 3,500 to 5,500 rpm, so that this bike can run comfortably from city streets to open roads.
Small but special changes in the design
Although technically there is no change in the bike, its look has been made a little better. With the new paint scheme, it now has brushed steel exhaust, new frame paint, 3D Speed T4 logo and color striping on the tires, which make it even more attractive.
Features are the same old, but still powerful
This bike gets dual channel ABS, 43 mm upside down front forks, and slipper clutch system as before, which makes the ride safe and smooth. Due to these features, this bike still maintains a strong hold in its
segment.
Other color options also included
Not only Baja Orange, but now this bike can also be purchased in three more new colors:
- Lava Red and White
- Caspian Blue and White
- Phantom Black
All these colors were introduced in India earlier this year, but now the company has made this list even more interesting by adding Baja Orange.
Tremendous jump in sales figures
Since the beginning of FY25, the sales of this bike have seen tremendous growth. The company says that the sales of Speed T4 have doubled during this time. Triumph’s 400cc range, which includes both Speed and Scrambler, has registered 30 percent more sales than last year. Due to this growth, Triumph’s 400cc bikes have now come second in the classic segment.
Entry of Scrambler 400 XC also became a topic of discussion
Last month, Triumph also launched its Scrambler 400 XC in India, which is priced at ₹ 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom). It is an updated version of the Scrambler 400X and has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Its tires are tubeless and dual purpose, which are suitable for off-roading.
