2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift : The facelift version of Mahindra’s popular SUV XUV700 is going to come in 2026 and its first glimpse has surfaced on the internet. The most special thing seen in the SUV this time is its all-new cabin design, which now looks more premium and full of technology than before.
The design inside has now completely changed
The interior of the new XUV700 facelift has now become like the XEV 9e SUV. It is clear from the leaked pictures that this time three big screens have been given in the car. All three screens will be 10.2 inches. These will be a digital instrument cluster, the second infotainment system and the third screen for the front passenger. This feature was previously seen only in the electric XEV 9e.
Apart from this, a new two-spoke steering wheel has also been seen, which has a backlit Mahindra logo. This is also taken from the same electric SUV. Now as soon as you sit in the cabin, there is a hi-tech and futuristic feel.
Features that were not there till now
The 2026 XUV 700 facelift is expected to come with many features that are not in the current model. It will get ventilated seats both in the front and rear. There will be a premium sound system from Harman Kardon for audio. Apart from this, digital key, self parking system and multi-color ambient lights can also be included.
Talking about the dashboard, it also looks in the style of XEV 9e, which clearly shows that Mahindra is now bringing design elements from its electric devices to its ICE models as well.
Some changes have also been seen from outside
Although the biggest change is in the interior, some changes have definitely been seen in the car from outside as well. In the pictures that surfaced during testing, the front grille looks changed. Now it will have vertical slats and new circular DRLs will be available along with the headlights. C-shaped DRLs can be removed.
One thing that is special is that fog lamps were not seen in the test mule. This could mean that an attempt is being made to keep the design more clean and modern.
No significant changes have been seen in the side profile and rear design. These parts can be kept as before.
Big leap in technology and safety too
Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to get Level 2 ADAS. Apart from this, 7 airbags, hill hold assist, and many advanced safety features can come in the SUV.
The good news for sunroof lovers is that the new XUV700 can be given a dual pane panoramic sunroof, which will make it even more special in this segment.
No change in engine and performance
According to the information received so far, no changes have been made in the engine. The SUV will get the same 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines, which are also in the current model.
There will be nothing new in the gearbox option as well. The 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission will be retained.
When will it come to the market?
Mahindra can launch this new facelift version in India by mid-2026. Its testing has started now, and its launch can be officially announced soon.
This time Mahindra has clearly shown that it wants to take its products forward in terms of technology and design. The 2026 XUV 700 facelift is a strong indication of this.
