India’s farmers are eagerly expecting the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Lakhs of people have been waiting since June for some good news. Now everybody is waiting for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Motihari, Bihar, on July 18 when he is supposed to declare great things.
₹2000 Payment Expected on July 18?
As per media updates, PM Modi will be speaking in front of a public rally in Motihari on 18th July 2025. He would likely unveil development schemes worth ₹7,100 crore, i.e., roadways, railway, and IT. Apart from this, there are strong chances that he would release the 20th installment of PM Kisan on the same occasion.
If the government officially announces, ₹2,000 will be transferred directly to bank accounts of recipient farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers are eagerly waiting now as the official confirmation was expected on July 17.
The PM Kisan Yojana is a central government scheme where eligible farmers get ₹6,000 per year, paid in three equal parts—₹2,000 every four months. The amount is for disbursing financial relief to marginal and small farmers.
Crores of farmers have been benefited under this scheme since the beginning. Yet, every installment has terms and conditions, and defaulting on the same can result in a delay in your payment.
Who Will Receive the 20th Installment?
The fund will only be credited to those farmers who have e-KYC and Aadhaar-bank linking successfully done. Otherwise, the ₹2,000 amount will get withheld.
To receive the 20th installment:
Complete the e-KYC online or visit common service centre (CSC) or your local bank.
Aadhaar-link your bank account.
From time to time check your PM Kisan status at the official site as well.
What Documents I Need?
In order to perform Aadhaar bank linking and KYC, you can provide following documents:
Photocopy of Aadhaar card
Proof of address like electricity bill, water bill, or telephone bill
Photocopy of bank passbook
These can be submitted at your bank or CSC center. If these are not updated, your PM Kisan installment shall never be credited into your account.
If all goes well, farmers can now expect to receive the 20th PM Kisan installment on July 18, 2025. Those who have not done KYC or Aadhaar verification must do it at the earliest. Otherwise, they may lose out on getting the much-awaited ₹2,000 relief.
