Skoda Gears Up for 2025 with 5 Stunning Sedans for India – Full List Inside with Features

Although the craze of SUVs has grown rapidly in India, Skoda still believes in the sedan segment. The company is going to launch five new sedan vehicles in India this year. Some of these have already been unveiled at Auto Expo 2025. Let’s know which new Skoda sedans are coming to India and what will be their features.

1. Skoda Superb (Petrol Variant)

Skoda introduced the fourth generation Skoda Superb at Auto Expo 2025 and it is expected to be launched in India by September 2025. This car will get a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which will be mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. It will be brought to India through the CBU (ie fully imported) route. This sedan will come with premium features, comfortable drive and excellent cabin quality.

2. Skoda Superb (Diesel Variant)

Along with the petrol version, Skoda is also preparing to bring the diesel version of Superb to India. This variant will get a 2.0 liter turbo diesel engine, which will also be offered with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Although its launch will happen after the petrol version, the company has confirmed that the diesel Superb will also come to the Indian market.

3. Skoda Octavia RS

Skoda Octavia RS, introduced at Auto Expo 2025, will be brought to India in limited numbers via the CBU route. It is a performance based sporty sedan that will get a 2.0 liter TSI turbo petrol engine, which generates 261 bhp of power and 370 Nm of torque. It will have a 7-speed DSG gearbox and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds. Its top speed will be limited to 250 kmph. In terms of design, this car will also come with a very sporty and aggressive look.

4. Skoda Octavia (Diesel Variant)

A new diesel version of Octavia is also going to be launched in India, which will be launched in the market around the festive season of 2025. It will have a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that will give 150 bhp power and 340 Nm torque. This engine will also be equipped with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. For those who like long distance driving and more mileage, this can prove to be a great option.

5. Skoda Slavia Facelift

Skoda’s mid-size sedan Slavia has been in the market since 2022, and now its facelift model is being prepared. It will be launched in the second half of 2025. This updated version will get a new exterior design, which will be inspired by the new Octavia and Superb. Also, it will get new alloy wheels and some changes in the rear profile. On the inside, the cabin will also get some cosmetic changes and new features will be added, such as ADAS, 360-degree camera and an improved infotainment system. Engine options will remain the same as before – 1.0 liter TSI and 1.5 liter TSI EVO petrol engines.
