Ingredients for making corn chaat :
- Boiled sweet corn 1 cup
- onion (finely chopped) 1 medium
- tomato (finely chopped) 1 small
- cucumber (optional) 1/2 small chopped
- green chili (chopped)
- Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
- Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt according to taste.
- Coriander leaves (chopped) 2 Tablespoons
- Butter (optional): 1 tsp (for heating)
Method of making corn chaat:
If you are using fresh corn, then boil it. If it is sweet corn, then boil it in hot water for 5 minutes. If you want, you can fry it lightly in butter to enhance the taste. Put boiled corn in a bowl. Now add onion, tomato, cucumber, green chili, and green coriander to it.
Add salt, chaat masala, black pepper, roasted cumin, and lemon juice on top. Mix everything well. If you want, keep it in the fridge for some time and serve the chaat cold. You can serve it both ways, hot or cold. If you add sev or mixed namkeen on top, it will taste more delicious.
