4 Upcoming Nissan Cars Confirmed for India : Nissan’s decade-long vision in India is finally becoming a reality, though at a slow pace. Recently in an event in Japan, the company unveiled its future plan, and to everyone’s surprise, four new models for India were announced. Out of them, two have already been finalized and will be entering the Indian market soon.
1. Nissan’s new B-segment MPV
Nissan’s new B-segment MPV is due to hit Indian dealerships at the end of this year. It will share a platform with Renault Triber, but will also have Nissan’s global design footprint with cues like a C-shaped grille and sharp LED lights. The pricing for this model can also be relatively low because it will be locally produced in a big way.
2. Nissan’s C-segment SUV
Nissan’s C-segment SUV can be launched in 2025-26. The SUV will bring in a big and muscular SUV look, which can come with petrol and diesel powertrains. It will have a high view and muscular stance with steep approach and departure angles to tackle various Indian terrain. There will also be a 7-seater model, which will be fantastic for family individuals and road trip enthusiasts. The interior platform of this SUV will be the same as Renault Duster, but Nissan will offer it with its own styling and features.
3. Electric car plan
Nissan’s Indian strategy is not only considering petrol and diesel vehicles, but a low-cost electric vehicle as well. Although very little detail has been disclosed about this electric version until now, the company is going to launch it in the future.
4. Nissan’s big goal
Nissan’s ambition is high in India as well, where Nissan has focused on attaining annual sales and export of one lakh units. This indicates that Nissan is committed to further tightening their hold in the Indian market and they are working hard day and night towards it.
