Babil Khan Delivered ‘Logout’ A Disturbing Glimpse Into Digital Obsession
Making its debut on ZEE5 this April 18, Logout stars Babil Khan as Pratyush Dua, a social media celeb very close to 10 million followers. The death from fame, however, tends to seep in when one crazy admirer absconds with his phone and steals both his digital and private life. Directed by Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar, this thriller also stars Rasika Dugal and Nimisha Nair.
Khauf -Adorns a Hint of the Supernatural in a Delhi Hostel
Co-location on April 18 on Prime, “Khauf” is a horror-type series based in a haunted hostel for girls. It features Madhu (Monica Panwar), a woman on the run from life only to find that her present takes an even darker hue. Rajat Kapoor, Shilpa Shukla and Chum Darang complete the very weird cast to this unsettling tale, directed by Smita Singh.
Daveed Returns
Daveed returns, alongside Antony Varghese back again with Daveed-an enthralling Malayalam sports drama streaming on ZEE5 from April 18. The actor plays here Ashiq Abu a former boxer turned bodyguard who gets back to the ring while protecting one’s Turkish champion. Personal demons come to rough play in this gritty tale which features special performances by Lijomol Jose and Vijayaraghavan.
The Last of Us Season 2: Revenge Conjugating Survival
The Last of Us returns on JioHotstar with season 2, by far the best awaited, on April 14. “Five years later, Ellie is on the vengeful quest against a hardened soldier called Abby, and we can expect some very high stakes and brutal action when they finally come face to face in a post-apocalyptic showdown.”
Stolen Girl Unravels One Mother’s Nightmare
April 16 on JioHotstar, The Stolen Girl, a psychological thriller in which a mother’s hunt for her disappeared daughter darkened and built suspense, comes on air. Lead by Denise Gough, she is joined in the dark-hued adaptation of Alex Dahl’s novel by Jim Sturgess and Ambika Mod.
