Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 : Royal Enfield has always been a special name among custom bike lovers. When the company launched the Himalayan 450, it entered a new era of technology and design. The Guerrilla 450, built on the same platform, gave Enfield a new identity in the roadster segment. Now this Guerrilla 450 has been completely transformed by Spain’s famous bike customizer XTR Pepo and introduced it as a sporty race bike.
This new avatar introduced under the name GRR 450
This special custom bike has been named GRR 450, which was showcased for the first time at the ‘Wheels and Waves Festival 2025’ in France. This bike has been officially built as a custom project by the Royal Enfield factory itself. Its foundation was laid on the Guerrilla 450 Roadster, but the changes are so deep that now it looks like a completely new bike.
Major changes in body design
The very first glimpse of this bike shows how much has been changed in it. Every part of the body is custom. The fuel tank is new and sharp in design. Along with this, the front quarter fairing, underbelly pan, other body panels made of fiberglass are made in racing finish. At the rear, there is a single seat with pillion cover and a stylish backrest. The rear mudguard and tire hugger made of carbon fiber of XTR also further enhance its sporty look.
High-end updates in frame and suspension
Both the main frame and subframe of this bike are custom made. The special thing is that the swingarm of Aprilia RS 660 has been installed in its rear, which is usually found in high-performance sports bikes. At the front, fully adjustable USD front forks taken from Aprilia RSV 1000 have been installed. Also, the handlebars have been fitted in low-clip-on style and the instrument cluster (Tripper TFT) has also been shifted downwards.
Modern technology in braking and control system
The braking system has also been upgraded in this race bike. Dual disc brakes have been installed at the front, in which powerful callipers from Discacciati have been used. Brembo’s disc brake unit has been provided at the rear. The footpegs have also been shifted to the rear for the rider to get the experience of sitting in a racing position.
Tires, Wheels and Other Racing Elements
The GRR 450 has been fitted with Dyman’s forged aluminum alloy wheels, which are 17 inches in size. These are fitted with Continental ContiSport Attack 2 tires which are known to give better grip on the race track. The size of these tires is 120/70 at the front and 160/60 at the rear. Apart from this, the bike also includes a lightweight lithium battery, aluminum sprockets and triple clamp made of CNC.
Possible changes in engine and performance
Although the complete details of the changes made in the engine have not been revealed, it is believed that power and torque have also been improved. The stock engine of the Guerrilla 450 produces 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque, but this custom version has a new carbon fiber airbox and a titanium exhaust system from SPARK, which is sure to increase performance.
Looks and Finishing
A new paint scheme and sporty graphics have been used to give the entire bike a racing look. Looking at the entire bike, it is difficult to guess that it is based on the Guerrilla 450. It has become a race track-ready, light and powerful machine.
