SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2025 Released: Exams will start from 6th August, admit card download link will be activated. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Recruitment Examination 2025 on the official website ssc.gov.in. Candidates appearing for the exam can now easily download their admit card. For this, candidates have to log in with the help of their registration number and password, or date of birth.

The exam will run for three days, and  recruitment will be done for 1590 posts

The SSC Stenographer Exam will be conducted this year from 6 August to 8 August 2025 at examination centers across the country. This time, a total of 1590 vacancies have been announced, out of which 230 posts are reserved for Grade ‘C’ and 1,360 posts for Grade ‘D’. These appointments will be made in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India, giving eligible candidates a golden opportunity to enter government service.

The written exam will have three sections of a total of 200 marks: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. It will have 200 questions and the duration of the exam has been fixed at two hours i.e., 120 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Talking about the transcription exam, 40 minutes are fixed for grade ‘C’ in English and 55 minutes in Hindi. At the same time, 50 minutes will be given in English and 55 minutes in Hindi for grade ‘D’.

How to download the admit card

Candidates have to first visit the official website of SSC. After clicking on the admit card link available on the homepage, log in by entering the roll number or registration number and date of birth. After this, the admit card will appear on the screen, which is necessary to download and keep safe for the future. It will be mandatory to take a printout and take it to the examination center.
