PM-Kisan 20th Installment: The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been sent to the accounts of crores of farmers across the country. This time, this amount of ₹ 2,000 has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of about 9.7 crore eligible farmers. However, there are many farmers whose accounts have not yet received this money. If you are also one of those farmers who are still deprived of this installment, then you should immediately check your documents and e-KYC status.
Money will not be available without Aadhaar linking and e-KYC
It has already been clarified by the government that for any next installment of PM-Kisan, the Aadhaar card must be linked to the bank account, and e-KYC must be completed compulsorily. If you have not done e-KYC yet, then the next installment of ₹ 2,000 may get stuck. Apart from this, it has now been made mandatory to update the Farmer ID as well, although this requirement was not applicable for the 20th installment at the moment.
Do e-KYC sitting at home; otherwise, you will have to go to the center
If your Aadhaar card is linked to your mobile number, then you can do e-KYC through OTP sitting at home. For this, you have to open the http://pmkisan.gov.in website and click on the “e-KYC” option and enter the Aadhaar number. After this, OTP will come to your registered mobile, and after verification “KYC Successful” message will appear on the screen.
If your mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, then the OTP will not come. In such a situation, you will have to go to the nearest CSC center and get biometric KYC done. At the same time, there is another option – Face Authentication KYC through the PMKISAN GOI mobile app. Download the app and enter your Aadhaar number, and after verifying the OTP, scan your face with the camera. In a few seconds, the message of success of e-KYC will appear on the screen.
Check whether your installment of ₹ 2,000 has come or not
If you want to know whether the money has been transferred to your account or not, you can check it through the website or mobile app. Go to the website and click on “Beneficiary Status” in “Farmers Corner” and enter Aadhaar, mobile, or bank account number. If “Payment Success” is shown, understand that the money has arrived. If “FTO Generated” is written, then the payment is in process and will come soon. At the same time, if “Rejected” is seen, there may be an error in the documents, which needs to be corrected.
