Weather Update: After mild cold in Delhi-NCR, heat has knocked once again. For the last few days, heat has started being felt even at night. The Meteorological Department (IMD) says that from 9 to 13 March 2025, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 31 to 35 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to remain between 13 to 19 degrees Celsius.
Bihar’s weather is also hot!
Talking about Bihar, the heat is increasing here both during the day and night. According to the Meteorological Center, the maximum and minimum temperatures may increase by two to four degrees in many parts of the state in the next 72 hours. On March 9, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely in many districts.
Heavy rain alert in the mountains!
The Meteorological Department has informed that a new western disturbance is expected to become active in the west of the Himalayan regions from March 9. Heavy rain and hailstorms accompanied by thunderstorms are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand from 9 to 14 March. Heavy rains may also occur in Punjab from 12 to 14 March.
Heavy rains are expected in Haryana on 13 and 14 March. On the occasion of Holi, i.e. on March 14, there may be rain in western Uttar Pradesh as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya. Apart from this, there may be rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Nagaland and Sikkim. There is also a possibility of lightning in these states. There may also be rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh on March 9.
How will the weather be in Bihar?
Partly cloudy and light rain is expected in North Bihar, West Champaran, Kishanganj, Madhubani, Purnia and Sitamarhi districts. Today, the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 28 to 34 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state.
