CBSE Launches New Online Answer Sheet Viewing System for Class 10 & 12 Students

CBSE Result 2025 New Copy Viewing Scheme : Lakhs of students who have taken the CBSE board exams are now eyeing their results. The work of exam evaluation is still going on and it is likely that the results will be released by the last week of May. Meanwhile, CBSE has introduced a new facility, through which students will now be able to view their answer sheets online. This move will promote transparency of the result and student satisfaction.
When will the result come?
CBSE has not yet officially announced the result date, but looking at the tradition of previous years, the board usually declares the results by the end of May. For example, the results were declared on May 13 in 2024, May 12 in 2023 and July 22 in 2022. This year the class 10 examinations were held from February 15 to March 18 and class 12 examinations were held from February 5 to April 4. Students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in.
How will the facility to view the answer sheet online be available?
The board has now started a new system under which if a student is dissatisfied with his marks, he can view his answer sheet online. For this, the student will have to apply after the result and pay a fee of ₹ 500 per subject. A special link will be issued on which the student can login and see his answer sheet.
Option to get photocopy also
Apart from viewing the answer sheet, students can also order its hard copy i.e. photocopy. For this also, online application will have to be made. Class 10 students will have to pay ₹ 700 and class 12 students will have to pay ₹ 500 per subject. The photocopy of the answer sheet will be sent within 15 days of application.
What will be the process of re-evaluation?
If a student feels after seeing the answer sheet that he has been given less marks, then he can apply for re-evaluation of the answers. The facility of re-evaluation will be available only to those students who have seen the answer sheet earlier or received its photocopy. This process will be under the rules of the board.
What is the importance of this facility?
This step of CBSE has been taken with the aim of giving more transparency and confidence to the students. This will increase accountability in the evaluation process and students will get an opportunity to understand how their marks have been given. Also, if any mistake has been made, then there will be a chance to correct it.
Conclusion:
This initiative started by CBSE is considered a big step in the interest of the students. This will not only make the result process more clean and reliable, but will also help the students to plan their future.
