Bihar Board Compartment Exam 2025 : Latest Dates Announced for Class 10 and 12 Students

Bihar Board Compartment Exam 2025 : Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given a big relief news for those students who failed in one or two subjects in the annual board examination. Now they will get an opportunity to appear in the examination again without losing a year, as BSEB has released the dates of Class 10th and 12th Compartment and Special Exam 2025.

Class 12th Compartment Exam – Time Table

The Intermediate (Class 12th) Compartment and Special examinations will start from 29 April and will run till 11 May 2025. The examinations will be conducted in two shifts—first shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and second shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. All the students will also be given an additional time of 15 minutes to read the question paper. This rule will apply to the students of all three faculties of Science, Commerce and Arts.

Class 10th Compartment Exam – Dates and Time

Matriculation (Class 10th) students will appear for their compartment exams between May 4 and May 9, 2025. These exams will also be conducted in two shifts, morning and afternoon. Students are requested to reach the examination center on time and bring all the necessary documents along with the admit card.

Where to check the exam date sheet?

Students can download the date sheet of compartment and special examination in PDF format by visiting the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. It is also advised to check the updates on the website from time to time, so that information about any change can be found in time.

Admit Card and Other Guidelines

The admit cards for the compartment exams of class 10th and 12th will be released soon. No student will be allowed to appear in the exam without admit card. Also, it will be mandatory to follow all the rules issued by the board, which include wearing school uniform, not bringing electronic devices and being disciplined in the examination center.

How to prepare better?

Students should focus on those subjects and topics in which they had difficulty earlier. Solving previous years’ question papers, revising regularly and studying with understanding will be more beneficial. It is better to clear concepts than rote learning, so that new questions can be faced easily.

Parents should keep children mentally strong and give them all the information on time. Schools should organize special classes and mock tests for weak students, which will increase both their preparation and confidence. Students, teachers and parents can improve exam results through mutual dialogue.
