BPSC 71st Prelims Admit Card Released: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the admit card for the 71st Combined Preliminary Examination (BPSC 71st Prelims). The commission has shared this important information on its official website http://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in. Now lakhs of candidates can download the e-admit card by logging into their account. However, this time the admit card issued does not contain the name and full address of the examination center, but only the code of the examination center is mentioned. The commission has clarified that the name and address of the examination center will be made available on the dashboard from September 11.
Two-hour exam on September 13, conducted in a single shift
The 71st preliminary examination of BPSC will be held on September 13 across Bihar. This exam will be taken in only one shift. The exam time has been fixed from 12 noon to 2 pm. Candidates will start getting entry to the examination center from the morning itself, but the commission has given clear instructions that all the candidates should enter the examination center by 11 o’clock. Entry will not be allowed under any circumstances after 11 o’clock.
The Controller of Examinations informed that all preparations for the examination have been completed. This time, about 4 lakh 70 thousand 528 candidates are expected to appear at a total of 912 examination centers in 37 districts.
Selection of examination centers with software, special facilities for female candidates
According to the commission, the selection of examination centers is done completely with the help of software. Efforts are made to allocate examination centers to female candidates in the districts adjacent to their home district. The commission claims that this time, about 90 percent of female candidates will get examination centers in the nearest district.
Commission Secretary Satya Prakash Sharma said that to maintain the fairness of the examination, mobile jammers will be installed at all the centers, and the entire campus will be monitored with CCTV cameras.
How to download the admit card
Candidates have to enter their login details by visiting the official website of BPSC. After this, go to the “My Account” section and click on the relevant advertisement. Here, you will get the option of “View/Download Admit Card”. Candidates can download it and keep it safe with them.
In the downloaded e-admit card, the candidate will get only the examination district mentioned. The complete examination center and address will be visible on the website from September 11. The commission has appealed to the candidates to ensure that the roll number and barcode are clearly printed while downloading the admit card.
What is mandatory to carry in the exam
BPSC has issued instructions that the candidates should reach the examination center with at least two copies of the e-admit card with them. Also, it will be mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card like an Aadhar card, voter ID, or passport.
When to reach the examination center
Timely attendance in the exam is very important. The gates will open two and a half hours before the start of the examination. That is, the entry of candidates will start from 9.30 am. But keep in mind that the gates will be closed after 11 am, and no candidate will be allowed to enter after that. That is why candidates have been advised to reach the examination venue at least one hour before the time.
