Punjab & Sind Bank: Punjab & Sind Bank has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 750 posts of Local Bank Officer (JMGS I). Interested and eligible candidates can apply till today, 11 September 2025. Vacancy details
This recruitment includes a total of 750 posts, in which reservations have been provided for various categories. In this, 108 posts are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), 51 posts for Scheduled Tribe (ST), 197 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 72 posts for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 322 posts for the unreserved category. Knowledge of the local language of the respective state is mandatory for the candidate.
Age Limit
The minimum age for application is 20 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. The candidate should not be born before 2 August 1995 and after 1 August 2005. Reserved categories will be given relaxation as per government rules – SC/ST will be given 5 years, and OBC will be given 3 years of relaxation.
Educational Qualification
The candidate should be a graduate in any subject, and a minimum of 18 months of work experience in the relevant field is required.
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will get a salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. The pay structure is as follows:
₹48,480 – Up to 7 stages with increment of ₹2,000 – ₹62,480
₹62,480 – Up to 2 stages with increment of ₹2,340 – ₹67,160
₹67,160 – Up to 7 stages with increment of ₹2,680 – ₹85,920
Bond Period and Service Conditions
The selected candidates will be required to serve in the Bank for a minimum period of three years. They will have to execute a bond for three years. If the service period is not completed, then three months’ gross salary (including Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance + Special Allowances, etc.) will have to be deposited with the Bank. An initial probation period of six months will be applicable.
