Mahindra Scorpio N : Mahindra may soon launch a new version of its popular SUV Scorpio N in the market. The recently released teaser shows a line like “Power always stays on course”, in which moving lights are also seen on the roads. This makes it clear that the company is going to provide a level 2 version of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in it, which was till now seen only in expensive cars.
What can be the new features
The level 2 ADAS that is expected to come in the new Scorpio N can include features like forward collision warning, automatic braking feature, lane change warning, self-adjusting high beam system, help in keeping the car in the lane, information about vehicles coming from behind, pedestrian recognition, blind spot alert and traffic sign recognition. Adaptive cruise control can also be available with all these.
There can be major changes in the interior as well
Many such changes can come inside the car as well which will give a premium feel. It may include features like a large touchscreen display, 360-degree camera setup, ventilated seats for driver and front passenger, and dual-pane sunroof. This will make the car look more comfortable and full of technology.
There will be no change in the engine
As far as the engine is concerned, it can be given the same 2.0-liter turbocharged mStallion petrol engine and 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine as before. For transmission, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic torque converter gearboxes will remain the same as before.
Mahindra’s big plan
Mahindra is preparing to launch many new vehicles in India in the coming time. The company plans to bring more than 23 new models by 2030. In this direction, the company has talked about investing up to ₹ 27,000 crore. Many new models have already been seen on the roads during testing.

Mahindra’s upcoming vehicles include the facelift XUV700, electric XUV 3XO, XEV 7e based on the XUV.e8 concept, a new version of the BE 6 special for off-roading and a new Thar 3-door version. Apart from this, the company is also preparing a new Bolero Neo. Amidst all this, it is believed that the company will also reveal its next big vehicle or future plan on Independence Day in August, as it has been doing every year.
