CATL Unveils Revolutionary EV Battery Technologies : 1,500 km Range and Ultra-Fast 5-Minute Charging

Chinese company CATL, the world’s largest battery manufacturer, has released three new and highly advanced battery technologies for electric vehicles (EVs). These technologies can revolutionize the charging speed as well as greatly extend the range of electric cars. Apart from this, these batteries also perform better in very cold weather, which will make it easy to use electric vehicles in all types of weather.

The most special technology is CATL’s “Freevoy Dual Power Battery”. In this, two different battery systems work in the same battery pack. The first battery is for long-distance driving, while the second battery is designed to deliver strong power. When these two batteries work together, your car can run more than 1,500 kilometers on a single charge. This is a huge change, because usually the range of electric vehicles is around 300-500 kilometers. This battery uses technologies borrowed from the aviation sector, which makes it safe and reliable and reduces the risk of overheating or damage to the battery.

The second battery technology is CATL’s “Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery”, which can completely change the speed of charging. With this, you can run your car up to 500 kilometers in just 5 minutes of charging. This means that you will not have to wait long for charging during long distance travel. The special thing is that this battery works efficiently even in the cold of -10 degrees Celsius and gets charged up to 80% in just 15 minutes. Also, it can give more than 800 kilowatts of power, which is better than many supercars.

The third technology is sodium-ion battery, which is a cheap and durable alternative to expensive lithium-ion batteries. This battery not only comes at a low price but is also extremely strong and safe. It works well even in extremely cold places of -30 degrees Celsius and does not lose its capacity even after repeated charging. Apart from this, this battery remains safe even in harsh tests like pressure, piercing or drilling and does not catch fire, which further increases its safety.
