BSSC Recruitment 2025: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has issued a major update regarding the CGL-4 and Office Attendant Recruitment 2025. The Commission has extended the registration and fee payment deadline from September 24, 2024, to October 14, 2025. The final date for submitting the online application has now been set for October 16, 2025. The Commission has taken this decision keeping in mind the best interests of the candidates.
A total of 5,208 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive, including 1,481 for CGL-4 and 3,727 for Office Attendants. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website, bssc.bihar.gov.in

CGPA and Grading Confusion Resolved
The Commission has also clarified that candidates whose CGPA and grades are listed on their mark sheets can now enter their total marks and obtained marks, or their full CGPA and obtained CGPA, in their application forms. Previously submitted applications will also be valid.
BSSC Office Attendant Recruitment 2025 – Key Information
This recruitment drive is aimed at filling vacant Office Attendant positions in various departments and ministries of the Bihar government. The highest number of vacancies are in the Animal and Fisheries Resources Department (1138 posts) and the Building Construction Department (500 posts).

Age Limit: 18 to 37 years (women, OBC, SC/ST eligible for relaxation as per rules) – Age will be calculated from August 1, 2025
