RRB NTPC Recruitment 2025-26: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has intensified preparations for new recruitments under the NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Category) for the year 2025-26. This year, recruitment will be made for a total of 8,875 posts. Of these, 5,817 are for graduate-level candidates and 3,058 are for 12th-grade pass candidates. According to the official notification, the application process is expected to begin between October and November 2025.

Goods Train Manager (Traffic-Operating) – 3,423 positions
Traffic Assistant (Metro Railway) – 59 positions
Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor (Traffic-Commercial) – 161 positions
Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist – 921 positions
Senior Clerk-cum-Typist – 638 positions
3,058 positions for 12th-grade pass (Undergraduate) positions
There are a total of 3,058 vacancies at the undergraduate level:
Trains Clerk – 77 positions
Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk – 2,424 positions
Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist – 394 positions
Junior Clerk-cum-Typist – 163 positions
Age Limit and Qualifications
Undergraduate Positions: The age limit for these positions is 18 to 30 years.
The maximum age limit for graduate-level positions is 33 years.
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), PWD, and ex-servicemen as per rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be multi-stage. Candidates will first have to appear for a computer-based test (CBT-1 and CBT-2). This will be followed by a skill test, typing test, or aptitude test, depending on the position.
The largest number of positions in this railway recruitment is for Goods Train Managers (3,423). Experts believe that this recruitment will be a golden opportunity for youth, as the Railway NTPC exams have always been considered one of the biggest recruitment exams in the country.
