Gold Silver Price Today 28 Sept 2025: The prices of gold and silver in India continue to fluctuate. After a few days of gains, gold prices fell for three consecutive days during the Navratri festival. However, the bullion market has since rebounded. According to the official website of the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), by market close on Friday, the price of 24-carat gold fell to ₹1,13,262 per 10 grams, while silver strengthened, rising to ₹1,38,100 per kg. Since markets are closed on Saturday and Sunday, these prices will be valid for both days.

Previous Day’s Situation

Silver prices rose by ₹1,900 in the Delhi bullion market on Friday, reaching a new record high of ₹1,41,900 per kilogram due to heavy festive demand and buying by investors. Gold also rose by ₹330, with 99.9% purity reaching ₹1,17,700 per 10 grams. Gold with 99.5% purity also rose by ₹400 to ₹1,17,100 per 10 grams.

Experts say that rising local demand and festive jewelry purchases offset the global decline. In the international market, spot gold fell 0.12% to $3,744.75 per ounce, and silver fell 0.35% to $45.03 per ounce.

Futures Market Trend

Gold futures prices rose on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday. Gold prices for October delivery rose ₹171 to ₹1,12,800 per 10 grams, while prices for December delivery rose ₹56 to close at ₹1,13,927 per 10 grams. Silver futures, on the other hand, declined. Silver for December delivery fell ₹400 to ₹1,36,656 per kg.

Gold and silver prices have become more volatile during the festive season. While there is a slight decline globally, domestic demand and buying by stockists have strengthened the Indian market. Gold and silver prices are expected to rise further in the coming days due to Navratri and Diwali.
