Festival Holiday Situation
West Bengal: Schools across the state will be closed from September 24 to October 6 due to Durga Puja. There may be slight variations in the holiday dates for both government and private schools.
Bihar: Dussehra holidays will be from September 27 to October 2. However, in some districts, the holidays have been extended to October 5.
Jharkhand: School holidays in Dhanbad and surrounding areas have been extended from September 27 to October 2, while some schools have extended them to October 5.
Delhi: According to a notification from the Directorate of Education (DoE), schools in the capital Delhi will be closed from September 29 to October 1. However, private schools can make changes to their calendar.
Odisha: The Odisha government has decided to keep schools closed from September 29 to October 2. Classes will then resume from October 3.
Assam: Dussehra holidays have been announced in Assam until September 30. Schools will also be closed on October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti).
Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh will have holidays on October 1 and 2 for Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti.
