RSSB AYUSH Officer Recruitment 2025: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSMSB) has made a major announcement regarding the recruitment of AYUSH officers. The recruitment process for 1,535 posts for doctors of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani systems of medicine has begun, generating enthusiasm among medical professionals in the state.

Vacancy Details

The vacant positions in this recruitment drive have been divided in a manner that benefits both rural and urban areas. 1,340 posts are reserved for non-TSP areas, while 195 posts are reserved for TSP areas. The primary objective of this arrangement is to strengthen health services in both tribal and non-tribal areas of the state.

Qualifications and Age Limit

Applicants must possess a BAMS, BHMS, or BUMS degree from a recognized university. Regarding the age limit, candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2026. The state government has also provided age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories.

Application Process Information

The online application process began on October 10, 2025, and will continue until November 8, 2025. Candidates must visit the official website, http://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, to apply. Before applying, candidates must complete a one-time registration on the Rajasthan SSO portal, which is mandatory for all government recruitments.

As for the application fee, candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay ₹600, while those belonging to the SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities categories will be charged ₹400. Payments will be accepted only through the online mode.

Selection Process

A three-stage process will be adopted for the selection of candidates. The first stage will be a written examination, scheduled for December 16, 2025. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will undergo a document verification process, and finally, a medical examination will be conducted before final selection.

Terms of Appointment

All positions under this recruitment will be on a contractual basis. The initial appointment will be for one year, which may be extended depending on the National Health Mission project duration. However, this employment will depend entirely on the duration of the project.

This move by the Rajasthan government is being viewed as a significant effort to integrate traditional medical practices into mainstream healthcare. The doctors recruited for these positions in the AYUSH Department are expected to provide better healthcare facilities in rural and remote areas.
