Many students may think the application deadline has passed, but that’s not the case. The application process, which was open from September 5th, has now been extended to October 20th. This is a good opportunity for students who couldn’t apply for some reason.
Important points about the exam
The JAM 2026 exam is scheduled for February 15th, 2026. Admit cards will be released on January 5th, 2026, and results are expected around March 20th, 2026. The exam will be computer-based and conducted in two shifts. The first shift will consist of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Geology papers, while the second shift will consist of Biotechnology, Economics, Physics, and Statistics papers.
Who can apply?
The good news is that there is no age limit for this exam. All students who have completed their graduation or are due to appear for their final year exams in 2026 can apply.

Note: IIT Bombay is only conducting the exam. The actual admission process will be conducted by individual institutes.
