BSSC 2nd Inter Level 2025: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released a major update for the second Inter-Level Recruitment. The application process will resume on October 15, 2025, and this time, a total of 23,175 posts will be filled. Initially, applications were accepted for 12,199 posts, but now 10,976 new posts have been added.

How many posts will be available for which category?
Out of a total of 23,175 posts:
Unreserved Category: 10,142 posts
Scheduled Caste: 3,212 posts
Scheduled Tribe: 219 posts
Extremely Backward Class: 3,974 posts
OBC: 2,562 posts
OBC (Women): 767 posts
Economically Weaker Section: 229 posts
Of these, 35% of the posts are reserved for women, totaling approximately 7,394 posts.
Eligibility and Selection Process
This recruitment requires a 12th-grade pass. Knowledge of computer typing is also required for some positions.

Exam Pattern Information
The preliminary examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes. The questions will be based on general studies, general science, mathematics, and mental ability. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Passing Marks
The minimum qualifying marks vary for different categories:
General Category: 40%
BC: 36.5%
MBC: 34%
SC/ST: 32%
Results and Application Fees
In the event of the examination being held in different shifts, the results will be prepared using the normalization method. The application fee for candidates of all categories is ₹100.
