Tata Motors to Launch Two New Premium Cars Soon, Including a Pure Electric SUV

Tata Motors is going to launch 2 new premium cars in India soon. One of these cars will be fully electric, which is specially made for environmentally conscious customers. Both these cars can be available in Tata Motors showrooms in the next two-three months.
First of all, the facelift version of Tata Altroz can be launched in the month of May. Altroz is the company’s first car built on the Alfa Arc platform and was introduced in November 2019. Now the time has come for its mid-cycle update. Recently, many pictures have surfaced during its testing on the road, in which changes in its design are clearly visible. In this, especially the front bumper, wheels and lights have been redesigned.
The front bumper and rear LED combination lights of the facelift Altroz will be available in a new design, which are better than the halogen lights of the model till now. The headlamps may also be LED, as competitors like the Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 get LED headlamps. Apart from this, the new car also appears to have five-spoke alloy wheels, which will give it a more sporty look. Inside the car, the upholstery and interior trim may also change, and ventilated seats may now be offered even in the base variant.
There will be no major changes to the motor or transmission, so the old engine options will continue.
The second new car is the Tata Harrier.ev, which was earlier scheduled to launch in March, but due to some delays, it has been postponed to June. The Harrier.ev will come primarily in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants, while the Harrier is normally a front-wheel drive car. The company has so far confirmed a dual-motor AWD variant, which gives 500 Nm of torque.
The Harrier.ev will get two battery options – around 60 kWh and 75 kWh. The model with a 75 kWh battery will give a range of about 500 km. The ex-showroom price of this new electric SUV can be around Rs 22 to 25 lakh.
In short, Tata Motors is soon going to strengthen its hold in the Indian market with the Altroz facelift and Harrier.ev electric SUV. Both the cars belong to the premium segment and are going to give new and advanced options to the customers.
