Maruti Suzuki Set to Launch Two New SUVs in India by 2025 : Full Details Revealed

India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, is going to make two big bangs in its SUV portfolio this year. The company is preparing to launch its first all-electric SUV as well as another new SUV in the market. First of all, let’s talk about the company’s first electric SUV – e-Vitara. This vehicle was showcased by Maruti for the first time at the India Mobility Expo in January 2025. Since then, customers were eagerly waiting for its launch. Now Maruti Suzuki has officially confirmed that the e-Vitara will be launched in the Indian market in September 2025. At the same time, its prices will also be revealed and delivery to customers will also be started.

Earlier, many reports were saying that this car would be launched in March or April, but now the company has clarified that the launch has been postponed a bit.

The e-Vitara will compete directly with cars like Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV and MG ZS EV in the Indian market. It will be sold exclusively through the Nexa network, which is a dedicated dealership chain for Maruti’s premium cars.

However, according to auto industry sources, this SUV could be a new 5-seater mid-size vehicle, which will be sold through Arena dealerships.
