West Delhi Banquet Blaze Horror: 2 Feared Trapped in Golden Royale Inferno

Massive fire at Golden Royale Banquet Hall in West Delhi’s Moti Nagar where two people are feared trapped. Fire department investigates safety certificate as videos go viral.

Fire Breaks Out During Busy Evening in Moti Nagar

It was a regular evening in West Delhi’s Moti Nagar when the Golden Royale Banquet Hall suddenly caught fire. The time was around 8.30 in the night when people saw smoke and flames rising from the building. What was meant to be a place of celebration turned into a moment of fear and confusion for everyone nearby.

Firefighters Race Against Time with 18 Vehicles Deployed

People on the road noticed the fire and called the Delhi Fire Services at 8.47 in the evening. In just minutes more than 18 fire trucks were sent to the spot. Fire officers worked quickly and tried to stop the flames from spreading to other floors. The fire was mostly under control by 10.30 but some parts were still burning.

Bystander Videos Show Intense Flames and Rising Smoke

People standing near the hall recorded videos on their phones where smoke was seen filling the air and flames were rising through windows. Glass was breaking and the sound of panic could be heard in the background. The entire area was covered in smoke and everyone was trying to move away from the building.

One or Two May Still Be Inside so Search Waits

Some staff members were taken out safely early on but officers believe one or two people might still be trapped inside. A full search is not possible until the last bit of fire is out. Firemen are waiting for the right time to go in and check the whole building again.

Owner Untraceable and Fire Certificate Under Scanner

Police are now trying to find the owner of the banquet hall so they can understand who all were inside and how the building was designed. At the same time the fire department is checking if the place had a fire safety certificate or not. This has again raised concern over how safe public buildings really are.

From celebration to chaos this fire shows why fire safety in Delhi cannot be ignored anymore.
