Ingredients for making mango panna :
Raw mango (medium size
2-3 Sugar or jaggery
1/2 cup (according to taste)
Mint leaves 8-10
Roasted cumin powder
1 tsp Black salt
1/2 tsp Common
salt to taste As per
Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Cold water or ice as per requirement
Method of making Aam Panna :
First of all wash the raw mangoes well and boil them in a pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles. After cooling, remove the peel of the mango and take out the pulp. Make a smooth paste by adding mango pulp, mint leaves, sugar (or jaggery), roasted cumin seeds, black salt, common salt and black pepper in the mixer. Put 2-3 tablespoons of Aam Panna paste in a glass. Pour cold water over it and mix well. Add ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves. For diabetic people, take jaggery or sugar free option. If you want, you can add a pinch of chaat masala to it for a more spicy taste. Serve Aam Panna on an empty stomach in the morning or in the afternoon before lunch. It can also be served as a party drink.
