MG Windsor EV Pro : MG Motor has recently launched its new electric car Windsor EV Pro in the Indian market. Booking of this new car has started on the company’s official website. Windsor Pro is actually an updated and more advanced version of the existing Windsor EV, which has already been the country’s best-selling electric vehicle.

Price and battery facility

The company has launched this car in two options. If you want to rent the battery and drive it, then its starting price has been kept at Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). In this, you will have to pay only Rs 4.5 per kilometer for the battery. On the other hand, if you want to buy the entire car including the battery, then its price will be Rs 17.49 lakh (introductory price). This offer is available only for the first 8,000 customers.

Under the special offer, the company has also promised to give lifetime battery warranty and 60% buyback value after 3 years to the first owner.

Major changes in design and features

To make the Windsor Pro version more premium, many changes have been made in its design and features. Now its interior comes in dual-tone ivory theme, which makes it look more premium and attractive than before.

Apart from this, powered tailgate, newly designed alloy wheels, and better safety features have been added to it. The company has also given three new colors in this model:

  • Aurora Silver
  • Glaze Red
  • Celadon Blue

Battery and range

The new Windsor EV Pro has a larger 53 kWh battery, which gives a range of 449 km on a single full charge.

While its standard model, which is already available in the market, has a 38 kWh battery which gives a range of 332 km.

In terms of power, the old model uses an electric motor with 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.

Also ahead in terms of technology and comfort

Many advanced technology features have been added to the Windsor EV Pro. It has Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) which makes driving more safe and easy.

Apart from this, V2L (Vehicle to Load) support is also available in this car, so that you can use this car as a power bank on the go.
