Indian Army has reworked the recruitment process for Agniveer Bharti 2025. For making the process fair and transparent, iris scanning technology will be used for the verification of candidates’ identity. The fresh program will increase the credibility of candidate verification as well as effectively stop fraud. Starting from June 30, 2025, Agniveer will begin the recruitment test.
Online Exam Dates
Agniveers recruitment CEE will be conducted between June 30 to July 10, 2025. The admit cards of the exam have also been published and can be downloaded on the official website of the Indian Army: joinindianarmy.nic.in. Chakkar Maidan in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, will host the August 2025 recruitment campaign.
Iris Scanning to Prevent Fraud
So far, the Army employed electronic wristbands and biometric methods to avoid impersonation. Nevertheless, some cheating still existed, particularly in physical tests. To avoid this, iris scanning has now been added to the recruitment process. The eye of every candidate will be scanned, producing an individual dataset that will be used to confirm identity at the rally.
Why Iris Scanning?
Iris scanning is the most accurate method of personal identification. Scientific research has established that two persons do not have an identical iris pattern. This technology will identify spurious candidates and only allow genuine aspirants to proceed. This is being done for the first time when iris scanning will be used at the recruitment rally in Muzaffarpur, and there is a likelihood it will be tried in other rallies later as well. The aim is to introduce complete transparency into the system.
Other Changes in the Recruitment Process
To make it even easier, a few additional changes have also been introduced by the Indian Army. This time, candidates are allowed to apply for two different positions in one application form for instance, Agniveer General Duty, Technician, Clerk, or Tradesman. Each field will have a different written examination, but there will be only one Physical Efficiency Test (PET) attempted. Both the candidates will be advantaged by this change in terms of time and energy. Details are available on the official website of the Army.
Selection Stages and Exam Topics
The process will start with the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) from 30 June to 10 July, 2025. The recruitment process, which includes the Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test, Adaptability Test, and Medical Examination, will be attended by students who pass the written exam. Subjects like general knowledge, mathematics, science, and logical reasoning will all be covered in the written exam.
