  • Paneer—200 grams (grated)
  • Onion—1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato—1 (finely chopped)
  • Green chili—1-2 (chopped)
  • Ginger-garlic paste—1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder—¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder—1 tsp
  • Red chili powder—½ tsp
  • Garam Masala—½ tsp 
  • Kasuri Methi—1 tsp
  • Salt—to taste
  • Oil or Butter—1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves—for garnishing

How to Make Amritsari Paneer Bhurji

Heat oil or butter in a pan.

Add onion and fry till golden brown.Then add ginger-garlic paste and fry till fragrant.Now add tomatoes and green chilies and cook till tomatoes become soft.Now add all the dry spices (turmeric, coriander powder, red chili, garam masala, and salt) and fry well.Add crushed Kasuri Methi and mix.

Now add grated paneer and mix everything well.Cook for 2-3 minutes so that the spices and paneer mix well.Serve by adding green coriander on top.Serve Amritsari Paneer Bhurji with hot roti, paratha, or butter naan
