Ingredients to make Besan Halwa :
Gram Flour—1 cup
Desi Ghee—1/2 cup
Sugar—3/4 cup
Water—1.5 cups
Cardamom powder—1/2 tsp
Cashews, almonds—for decoration
Method of making for Besan Halwa :
Put ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and heat it on medium flame. Now add gram flour to it and fry it on low flame while stirring continuously. When the aroma starts coming from the gram flour and the color becomes light brown, then understand that the gram flour is well roasted. Put water and sugar in another pan. Boil it till the sugar dissolves completely. Then add cardamom powder to it. Now pour this syrup slowly into the roasted gram flour and keep stirring continuously so that lumps do not form.
Cook the mixture till it starts leaving the pan and ghee starts appearing separately from the sides. Now turn off the gas and add cashews and almonds on top. Serve hot halwa.
