Ingredients for Besan Roti Pancake :

  • Leftover rotis—2
  • cut thickly or cut into small pieces
  • Take gram flour—1 cup
  • Curd—2 tbsp
  • Onion—1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato—1 (finely chopped)
  • Green chili—1 (optional, finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves—2 tbsp
  • Turmeric—1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder—1/4 tsp
  • Salt—as per taste
  • Water—as per requirement (for making batter)
  • Oil—for frying

How to Make Besan Roti Pancake :

In a bowl, add gram flour, curd, and some water and prepare a smooth batter. Make sure there are no lumps.

Now add chopped rotis, onion, tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, turmeric, red chili, and salt and mix well. Put some oil on a non-stick pan and pour the prepared batter with a spoon and give it the shape of a pancake. Cover and cook on low flame till both sides turn golden brown. Serve hot besan roti pancakes with green chutney or tomato sauce.

You can also add grated carrots, capsicum, or paneer to it. Do not add green chilies for small children. This recipe is perfect for both breakfast and lunchboxes.
