BYD Seal Electric Sedan 2025 : BYD (Build Your Dreams) has taken another big step in the Indian electric car market by launching its new and updated 2025 Seal electric sedan. This vehicle is not only more advanced now but many new features have been added to it which make driving even easier, safer and more fun. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 41 lakh, and this price is as per Delhi ex-showroom.
Offered with three different variants –
The new BYD Seal has been launched in three variants –
1. Dynamic (RWD) – Rs 41 lakh, which has a 61.44 kWh battery.
2. Premium (RWD) – Rs 45.70 lakh, it has a larger 82.56 kWh battery which gives even more range.
3. Performance (AWD) – Rs 53.15 lakh, which comes with dual motor and all-wheel drive system and gives great acceleration.
These three variants have been designed keeping in mind the different needs of the customers – whether you want a car for long distance or want high speed and advanced technology.
Great improvement in ride quality with new suspension technology
BYD has given new suspension technology in 2025 Seal, which includes Frequency Selective Dampers and the company’s own developed Disus-C Intelligent Damping System. This technology reduces the shock of the car and gives a smooth ride even on bad roads. The car remains more under control while driving and stability is maintained even while taking turns.
0 to 100 km/h speed in just 3.8 seconds
If you are fond of high speed, then you will definitely like the Performance version of Seal. This version can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric sedans in India.
Better battery technology – longer life and lighter weight
This time the company has also made a big change in the battery system. It has a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery which is six times lighter than the old systems and gives five times less self-discharge rate. BYD says that this battery can work comfortably for 15 years, which is a big relief for any customer.
Now there is a feeling of more luxury in the cabin
The cabin has also been upgraded in the 2025 BYD Seal. It has a new silver plated dimming sunroof, which automatically adjusts according to the sunlight. Also, now all variants also get power operated sunshade.
The air conditioning system has also been made more powerful, which now includes a bigger compressor and a new air purifier system, which keeps the cabin air more clean and cool.
Smart Features – Wireless connectivity now standard
BYD has taken full care of the convenience of smartphone users. Now both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have been provided as standard in every variant of the new Seal. This means that now your phone will be automatically connected as soon as you sit in the car – without the hassle of any cable.
BYD’s growing hold in India
BYD is rapidly expanding its reach in India. Last year, the company launched Seal in the Indian market and received a good response from the customers. Currently, BYD’s portfolio also includes Atto 3 SUV, eMax 7 MPV and the new Sealion 7 SUV.
