Chandigarh Shines in JEE Main 2025: Tricity Trio Among India’s Top 100 Ranks

Tricity Excels in JEE : Main Students of Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula excel at JEE Main and come alive with possibilities of IITs, It is indeed a matter of pride for the region, the tricity, as three students from Chandigarh, Mohali, and areas around them have been awarded the fortune of being included in the roster of the top 100 ranks of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results on Saturday. The results are again good, as this year’s brighter minds of the tricity score well in the exam.

Chandigarh’s Star: Arnav Jindal Clinches AIR 36

At the apex of the heap is Arnav Jindal, a student of DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, Chandigarh. Arnav is also the topper from Chandigarh with an all-India rank of 36, obtaining a stunning NTA score of the 99.999 percentile. Hailing from Kharar, Arnav performed exceptionally well by scoring 99.996 percentile in the Session
1; he is now on the way to becoming a student in Computer Science Engineering at IIT Delhi or Bombay.

Arnav has always devoted himself entirely to JEE Advanced because he only regards JEE Main as the first step of his journey. Interestingly, he only devoted a few days of preparation to Session 2 of the Main exam since he had already built up a strong base. Now it’s all heads down toward JEE Advanced in May.

Yet, under this pressure of 14-hour study a day, he finds time to relax by listening to some of the mesmerizing songs sung by Arijit Singh. Arnav gives credit to both his responsible parents, Deepak Jindal, a businessman from Kurukshetra, and his mother, Ritu Aggarwal, a homemaker, and his sister, Janhavi Mittal, an MBBS graduate from Shimla.

Punjab Topper Piusa Das Sets Record Straight with AIR 80

 

Another feather added to the cap of the region is Piusa Das, who grabbed AIR 80, thus becoming the Punjab topper according to the NTA list. Originally from Kolkata, Piusa came to Mohali to realize her dream of clearing the JEE at Narayana E-Techno School, Sector 119. The decision turned out to be a profitable one, bringing her into
the high-flyers list in the country.

Piusa draws immense strength and motivation from her father, Pratik Das engineer himself. Her emotional anchor during the tough preparation period was her mother, Sujata Das. Despite studying hard for 13 to 14 hours daily, Piusa still found time to enjoy her passion for football-including cheering for her favorite team, Real Madrid.

Ranveer Singh Virdi: AIR 97 and a Legacy in Tech

The third jewel in the tricity’s academic crown is Ranveer Singh Virdi from Ryan International School, Sector 49, Chandigarh. The AIR 97 brings further accolades to the legacy of his family in computer science. Inspired by his father Surinder Singh Virdi and others in the family who pursued computer science engineering, he aspires
to follow the same path at IIT Bombay.

Tricity’s Winning Streak Continues

For the third consecutive year, students from this tricity again ranked in the JEE Main top 100 list. Vedant Saini of the Bhavan Vidyalaya secured the 26th rank in AIR 2024, while four students made it to the JEE Main list in 2023; Raghav Goyal held number 20th in AIR. Their destination has shifted to JEE Advanced, yet their academic journey does not end here. So for now, Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula must rejoice in their upcoming stars.
