This phased method of payment will give employees a feel of an increase every month on his earnings, softening the shock of day-to-day price rises.

Retired Employees Get Full Amount at Once

The government has also taken a decision for retiree employees, who will retire between April and June 2025, that they get the full pending DA amount in the month they retire.
